"District courts enjoy extremely broad discretion in controlling discovery." Weeks v. Samsung Heavy Indus. Co., 126 F.3d 926, 943 (7th Cir. 1997). While Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(d)(1) permits expedited discovery at the discretion of the district court, it "is 'not the norm.'" See Guava, LLC v.
